2011 San Diego Comic Con: Blizzard Senior Art Director Samwise Didier Signing

Christmas in the middle of summer? Samwise will be signing any Blizzard product you bring at the San Diego Comic Con through July 21-24 at the San Diego Convention Center, and if you don’t have any products for signing, fret not — you can buy posters, TCG cards and other products from the Blizzard booth. Come forth, epic fans. Meet the legend. Get back home with epic phat lootz — and no, you can’t touch the panda side whiskers.

With Samwise coming to this event, I have a strong hunch Blizzard and DC Comics “might” have some announcements to make about the World of Warcraft and StarCraft Graphic Novels. Speculation-mode on.

Tip: Chris Metzen (Blizzard VP of creative design) and Jim Lee (comic book artist) unveiled plans to launch a World of Warcraft comic book ongoing series at the 2007 San Diego Comic Con. Thus, it makes sense Blizzard’s presence this year at San Diego Comic Con might yield good news on that front.

If you are at Comic-Con this year, make sure you swing by Artists Alley for I will be commanding booth # AA-09. If you have art you want signed, bring it! If you do not, fret not. I will have cards, prints, and posters for sale. So stop by, bring ale, swords or other worthy offerings to the Panda King and we will revel in the Comic-Con majesty! For the bloody Horde!

Love,

-Samwise

In addition, fans attending the event this year should know I have confirmed Jim Lee, Walter Simonson and Louise Simonson (all three involved in the World of Warcraft comic book) are special guests signing at the Artists Alley.
