University of Texas Invents StarCraft Ghost-like Cloaking Device
The Institute of Physics reported that Researchers of the University of Texas have developed an exciting technique to create a “mirage effect” that causes sheets of one-molecule-thick carbon nanotubes to generate enough heat on the surface of an object to bend light. Basically, the sky light is reflected toward your eyes, and creates sort of a mirage or cloaking effect taking the original object out of eye-view.
Seems the cloaking technology of Terran Ghosts and Protoss Motherships ain’t so fictional anymore.
