Glynnis Talken: 2009 Cherry Festival – Beaumont CA

Glynnis Talken (Sarah McKerrigan) will be at The 91st Annual Cherry Festival in the City of Beaumont, California this Friday, June 5th.  It is located between Stewart Park on 9th and Orange Streets Beaumont, CA 92223.  For event info call (951) 769-8524.  Bring your StarCraft stuff to be signed or her own medieval romance books and say hi.  Send us video or photos of your encounter.

She is going there mostly to support her husband (boo) Richard Campbell, vocalist/bass player of America who is playing at the event. However, she is welcoming fans and willing to sign books and stuff. The event starts from 5pm till midnight.

Aaron Rosenberg coming to Border Books – Ramsey New Jersey

Aaron Rosenberg (StarCraft: Queen of Blades writer) will be a guest-speaker at the Science Fiction Association of Bergen City on Saturday, June 13th at 7pm EST. His speech starts at 8pm, so you will have time to talk to him earlier.

Aaron will talk about his first steps as a professional writer, and his current projects.  If you live in the area, he is more than willing to talk to you, and sign your books. Send us video or photos of your meeting.—(Map)

Graham McNeill @ New York City Book Expo America

Graham McNeill is coming to the Book Expo America to be held this week in New York City through Friday May 29th to Sunday May 31st.  You will find him all three days at Booth 4047 (BL Publishing Games Workshop).  In addition, Graham has a book signing schedule at the same event on Sunday, May 31st at Table 6 between 10am and 11am EST. Make sure to bring your copy of StarCraft: I, Mengsk and any other books written by the author.

Coincidentially, I was planning to go to this event after Insight Editions invited me to the event.  The event organizer told me today how to get my press badge. I will cover the book signing event and get at least 10 copies of I, Mengsk signed by the author for our giveaways.

A few days ago, I gave you a heads up on the interviews and live chats planned for our community of fans who love the StarCraft lore in all its formats.  First off, our interview with Simon Furman—writer of StarCraft # 1 (Wildstorm Comics) is in progress. We will post that as soon as it goes through the public relations process. While that gets back to us, this week we have the awesome live chat with the people behind StarCraft Frontline Vol. 3.  Fans are welcome to come to our live chat with Tokyopop Editor Hope Donovan and the five StarCraft Frontline writers: Paul Benjamin, Dave Shramek, Grace Randolph, Ren Zatopek and Josh Elder.  You are free to interact with all of them.
